Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Liudvikas Glodenis kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Jonas Pilvinis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Liudvikas Glodenis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dangiras Paliūnas to make any attempt to save it. Dangiras Paliūnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Pilvinis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrius Lemežis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Augustas Maksimavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, FC Anzhi's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenijus Skinderis came free, but Eitautas Gimžauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Strakalai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Liudvikas Glodenis scored to the left of an out of position Dangiras Paliūnas, making the score, 2-0. Eitautas Gimžauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vykintas Tarasevičius in the 26th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Redas Laukaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd match minute, FC Anzhi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simonas Pranys to maneuver through the defense. Dangiras Paliūnas made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Liudvikas Glodenis sent off a good shot on target. Strakalai's Dangiras Paliūnas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Pilvinis in the 41st minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Eitautas Gimžauskas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gintautas Grakauskas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. Simonas Pranys's late challenge caught a Strakalai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simonas Pranys helped the player get up and apologised. Simonas Pranys hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Adolfas Balašauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strakalai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfas Balašauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Strakalai's Eitautas Gimžauskas threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vykintas Tarasevičius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eugenijus Skinderis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Eitautas Gimžauskas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Dangiras Paliūnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Pilvinis in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrius Lemežis in the 73rd minute of play forced Strakalai's goalkeeper Dangiras Paliūnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eitautas Gimžauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gintautas Grakauskas in the 75th minute of play. In the 79th minute Augustas Maksimavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dangiras Paliūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes, FC Anzhi's Redas Laukaitis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dangiras Paliūnas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Anzhi reached it. 81 minutes into the game, Jonas Pilvinis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dangiras Paliūnas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrius Lemežis struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dangiras Paliūnas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Anzhi. Liudvikas Glodenis took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dangiras Paliūnas. Dangiras Paliūnas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 90th minute, Jonas Pilvinis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dangiras Paliūnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. A collision led to FC Anzhi getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vitoldas Matusevičius hit a great ball. Gintautas Grakauskas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eitautas Gimžauskas having to make a save. When Vitoldas Matusevičius fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Anzhi's protests and gave Vitoldas Matusevičius a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Anzhi getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Vitoldas Matusevičius hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Anzhi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Strakalai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
