Anicetas Vaitkevičius came out of the goal and Juras Dervinis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Mincia got a freekick which was hit by Simonas Milius. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Algirdas Barauskas in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anicetas Vaitkevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FBK Dziugin booed when Mincia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincentas Puikys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juras Dervinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Anicetas Vaitkevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FBK Dziugin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
