With his leg Vilius Kuprevičius managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when FBK Dziugin's Algirdas Barauskas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romas Žigelis in the 7th minute of play forced FBK Dziugin's goalkeeper Airūnas Jasilionis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilius Kuprevičius made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Juras Dervinis sent off a good shot on target. Juras Dervinis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vilius Kuprevičius having to interfere. Romas Žigelis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algirdas Barauskas in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilius Kuprevičius saved FK VIDINIS from getting behind. In the 19th minute, FBK Dziugin's Algirdas Barauskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vilius Kuprevičius. Vilius Kuprevičius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 23 played minutes FK VIDINIS got a freekick which was hit by Audrius Alekveravičius. With an all-out effort, FBK Dziugin's Vilius Kuprevičius threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Algirdas Barauskas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd play minute Juras Dervinis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vilius Kuprevičius. 2-0. Algirdas Barauskas had several of the FK VIDINIS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Vilius Kuprevičius as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 42 minutes, Juras Dervinis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FBK Dziugin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juras Dervinis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Algirdas Barauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romas Žigelis was the one to do the kick off. Juras Dervinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vilius Kuprevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FK VIDINIS's Aistis Grunskis got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Audrius Alekveravičius fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK VIDINIS's protests and gave Audrius Alekveravičius a yellow card for diving instead. Vilius Kuprevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juras Dervinis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, FK VIDINIS's goal looked a bit too open when Algirdas Barauskas came free, but Vilius Kuprevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vilius Kuprevičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juras Dervinis's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Algirdas Barauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vilius Kuprevičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Algirdas Barauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Juras Dervinis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vilius Kuprevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algirdas Barauskas in the 69th minute of the match. Vilius Kuprevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algirdas Barauskas in the 70th minute of play. FBK Dziugin's Margiris Aleksandravičius suffered a sore thigh after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Audrius Alekveravičius was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. Audrius Alekveravičius kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juras Dervinis in the 76th minute of play forced FK VIDINIS's goalkeeper Vilius Kuprevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Romualdas Grubliauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juras Dervinis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Romas Žigelis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Airūnas Jasilionis. That made the score 3-1 in the 80 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FBK Dziugin's zone, Romas Žigelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Airūnas Jasilionis came out of the goal and Romas Žigelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juras Dervinis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vilius Kuprevičius having to make a save. Juras Dervinis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vilius Kuprevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vilius Kuprevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jogaila Jakubėnas in the 96th minute of the match. FBK Dziugin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
