But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaidotas Adamonis couldn't finish the play. Vilius Povilionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hubertas Putvinskas's late challenge caught a FK Fabijoniškių ereliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hubertas Putvinskas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Hubertas Putvinskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 56th minute, Vaidotas Adamonis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Vilius Povilionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nojus Erčius hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Zanfagnese FC got a corner. FK Fabijoniškių ereliai's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sikstas Spudys ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Zanfagnese FC's corner Sikstas Spudys fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Klemensas Beržinis quite easily take care of the ball. Vilius Povilionis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Vilius Povilionis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Klemensas Beržinis. That made the score 0-1 in the 77 minute of play. Vilius Povilionis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemensas Beržinis having to interfere. Klemensas Beržinis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaidotas Adamonis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilius Povilionis got free with Klemensas Beržinis in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FK Fabijoniškių ereliai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Vaidotas Adamonis scored to the left of an out of position Klemensas Beržinis, making the score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FK Fabijoniškių ereliai's zone, Vilius Povilionis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klemensas Beržinis came out of the goal and Vilius Povilionis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FK Fabijoniškių ereliai's Dangiras Beresnevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
