Aloyzas Kumpis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vėjas Gaubšas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Versmė Birštonas's Sikstas Zaveckas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 36th minute Vėjas Gaubšas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloyzas Kumpis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloyzas Kumpis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marijus Domkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Sikstas Zaveckas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romas Kimbartas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Vėjas Gaubšas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aloyzas Kumpis. Vėjas Gaubšas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Aloyzas Kumpis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marijus Domkus in the 80th minute of play. Vėjas Gaubšas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aloyzas Kumpis made a huge save. Regimantas Babelis kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Aloyzas Kumpis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vėjas Gaubšas in the 90th minute.
