Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaunius Venckūnas started the match with the kick off. Merūnas Juknevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vėjas Gaubšas in the 3rd minute. With 4 minutes on the clock, Emilis Domkus commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 4th minute, one of Kurkliu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Kurkliu. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Siuksles. Sikstas Navardauskas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Romas Kimbartas. 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Siuksles's goalkeeper Merūnas Juknevičius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donatas Grakauskas. If Vėjas Gaubšas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marijus Domkus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Merūnas Juknevičius skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A sloppy throw-in by Svajūnas Žiauberis in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kurkliu's Juozapas Mažeika. Marijus Domkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Kurkliu's Marijus Domkus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 36th minute, Vėjas Gaubšas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kurkliu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 4-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Vėjas Gaubšas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Vėjas Gaubšas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vėjas Gaubšas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vėjas Gaubšas might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Merūnas Juknevičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vėjas Gaubšas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Regimantas Babelis came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kurkliu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Regimantas Babelis couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Vėjas Gaubšas made a precise shot to the right of Merūnas Juknevičius. Siuksles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Marijus Domkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merūnas Juknevičius having to interfere. Merūnas Juknevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vėjas Gaubšas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Kurkliu were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Siuksles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marijus Domkus took the corner. Juozapas Mažeika kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Rolandas Valionis kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Siuksles's Sikstas Navardauskas tried to score from far away in the 68th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Rolandas Valionis notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Siuksles's Merūnas Juknevičius. Merūnas Juknevičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 75th match minute, Kurkliu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolandas Valionis to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Skirmantas Gasparavičius during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vėjas Gaubšas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merūnas Juknevičius having to interfere. Rolandas Valionis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Merūnas Juknevičius having to make a save. Rolandas Valionis struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Merūnas Juknevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurkliu. Vėjas Gaubšas might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Merūnas Juknevičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vėjas Gaubšas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Sikstas Navardauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kurkliu's Vėjas Gaubšas got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Siuksles defense, Juozapas Mažeika kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Merūnas Juknevičius. The Siuksles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Merūnas Juknevičius should have stopped the shot. Vėjas Gaubšas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Merūnas Juknevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kurkliu had played much better football throughout.
