Spectators: 7414 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1814, VIP seats: 100) Paleiciai's Irmantas Jarošas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Egidijus Bikauskas made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Sigitas Zaleckis sent off a good shot on target. Oskaras Indriulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Paleiciai's goalkeeper Egidijus Bikauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigitas Zaleckis. Paleiciai's Egidijus Bikauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Paleiciai from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Paleiciai's goalkeeper Egidijus Bikauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sigitas Zaleckis. Rapolas Bilevičius hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paleiciai's zone, Oskaras Indriulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egidijus Bikauskas came out of the goal and Oskaras Indriulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigitas Zaleckis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oskaras Indriulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidijus Bikauskas having to interfere. Sigitas Zaleckis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Egidijus Bikauskas came out and tried to block the shot, but Sigitas Zaleckis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Valdas Judeikis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irtautas Survila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Sigitas Zaleckis in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egidijus Bikauskas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute, Grybai's Remigijus Varnas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Alius Gudavičius made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jeronimas Stackevičius however managed to control. Paleiciai's Egidijus Bikauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigitas Zaleckis in the 44th minute of play.

Sigitas Zaleckis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egidijus Bikauskas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Remigijus Varnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grybai's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigijus Varnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egidijus Bikauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Egidijus Bikauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigitas Zaleckis in the 59th minute of play. If Rapolas Kazlauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egidijus Bikauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigitas Zaleckis in the 82nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Sigitas Zaleckis put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Egidijus Bikauskas. 88 minutes into the match, Paleiciai's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Zaleckis came free, but Egidijus Bikauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paleiciai's Egidijus Bikauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigijus Varnas in the 90th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Sigitas Zaleckis in the 91st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience was convinced that Sigitas Zaleckis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Egidijus Bikauskas was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game.
