Virgilijus Siaučiulis hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Žvakių fabrikėlis's goal looked a bit too open when Valdas Judeikis came free, but Liudas Širvys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irmantas Jarošas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Liudas Širvys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paleiciai's Ernestas Milkus couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Žvakių fabrikėlis. In the 31st match minute, Žvakių fabrikėlis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mantvydas Ganusauskas to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Virgilijus Siaučiulis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Žvakių fabrikėlis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Irmantas Jarošas kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Paleiciai's Egidijus Bikauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenonas Sauliūnas in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Irmantas Jarošas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liudas Širvys having to interfere. Valdas Judeikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Liudas Širvys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Paleiciai's Irmantas Jarošas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Liudas Širvys. That made the score 1-2 after 62 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Žvakių fabrikėlis's zone, Valdas Judeikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Liudas Širvys came out of the goal and Valdas Judeikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alius Gudavičius hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Aivaras Dilys came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Žvakių fabrikėlis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aivaras Dilys couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Zenonas Sauliūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egidijus Bikauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes in the game, Irmantas Jarošas dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdas Judeikis got free with Liudas Širvys in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Žvakių fabrikėlis booed when Paleiciai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mantas Kelmys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alius Gudavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Paleiciai's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
