After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Poprudze! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for oOo. Vidmantas Gečas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Artūras Daulys. 1-0. Merūnas Lazdauskas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Oskaras Vileikis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artūras Daulys read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Benas Girdauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Redas Narbutas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Vidmantas Armoška made the kick off in the second half. Vidmantas Armoška struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Artūras Daulys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for oOo. In the 58th minute, Nojus Gedrikas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poprudze fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 62 played minutes oOo got a freekick which was hit by Eduardas Mažeikis. The supporters of oOo booed when Poprudze was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldas Damanskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Vidmantas Gečas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Artūras Daulys skillfully saved the ball. Benas Girdauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 72 minutes, Liudas Vėlius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the oOo and the Poprudze players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, oOo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liudas Vėlius to maneuver through the defense. Nojus Gedrikas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artūras Daulys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidmantas Armoška, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vidmantas Armoška fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artūras Daulys having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidmantas Armoška in the 91st minute of play forced Poprudze's goalkeeper Artūras Daulys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artūras Daulys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oskaras Vileikis in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Poprudze's Nojus Gedrikas got a free kick in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. oOo had played much better football throughout.
