Vykintas Tarvydas came out of the goal and Vilmantas Lapinskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, SAVI's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmantas Lapinskas came free, but Vykintas Tarvydas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of SAVI booed when Klachuny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurynas Šarkinas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klachuny's Ovidijus Kubilas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaldas Jakubėnas in the 11th minute of play. SAVI's Regimantas Rapalis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 15th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ovidijus Kubilas but with some difficulty. 21 minutes into the match, Klachuny's goalkeeper Ovidijus Kubilas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaldas Jakubėnas. The supporters of Klachuny booed when SAVI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldas Gaška didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vykintas Tarvydas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmantas Lapinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vilmantas Lapinskas took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vykintas Tarvydas. Vykintas Tarvydas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaldas Jakubėnas in the 34th minute of play forced Klachuny's goalkeeper Ovidijus Kubilas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldas Vasauskas in the 39th minute of play forced SAVI's goalkeeper Vykintas Tarvydas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykintas Tarvydas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldas Vasauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 44 minutes, Tadas Rinkevičius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klachuny and the SAVI players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Tadas Rinkevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidijus Kubilas was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Regimantas Rapalis. After the first half Klachuny were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Laurynas Šarkinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vykintas Tarvydas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Aivaras Jankevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klachuny's supporters rose to their feet, but Aivaras Jankevičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vykintas Tarvydas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute, Vilmantas Lapinskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, SAVI's Dovydas Rasiukas got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ovidijus Kubilas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaldas Jakubėnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vykintas Tarvydas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilmantas Lapinskas's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Arnoldas Vasauskas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vykintas Tarvydas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 0-2.
