Švėkšnos Ašis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basílio Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pasvalio Fc's Albinas Strielkauskas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Pasvalio Fc from getting a goal against them. Alfredas Kazlauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Marco Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albinas Strielkauskas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelio Lon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albinas Strielkauskas made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Aurelio Lon sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Dale Pajazo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albinas Strielkauskas, 1-0. In the 38th minute, Basílio Leite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Basílio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Švėkšnos Ašis's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albinas Strielkauskas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liudvikas Buzelis to make the kick off. Albinas Strielkauskas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Martins's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Marco Martins put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Albinas Strielkauskas. 60 minutes into the match, Švėkšnos Ašis's goalkeeper Carlinhos Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Giedrius Stankaitis. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Basílio Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Švėkšnos Ašis's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But to his dismay, Marco Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Marco Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Pasvalio Fc getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tauras Zabulis hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Marco Martins's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albinas Strielkauskas was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Giedrius Stankaitis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Albinas Strielkauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basílio Leite in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Švėkšnos Ašis's Virginijus Sadeckas got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Marco Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Basílio Leite came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Švėkšnos Ašis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Leite couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Marco Martins left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Švėkšnos Ašis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Albinas Strielkauskas came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Švėkšnos Ašis's Aurelio Lon. But to his dismay, Aurelio Lon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 95th match minute, Švėkšnos Ašis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dale Pajazo to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Švėkšnos Ašis were the better team. Švėkšnos Ašis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
