Jaunius Buožius kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Agatas Mikuckis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Stariske's supporters rose to their feet, but Agatas Mikuckis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vydas Gudeikis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vitoldas Jančys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajus Balvočius having to interfere. Agatas Mikuckis struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Vydas Gudeikis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Stariske. 16 minutes into the match, Barshenay1's goal looked a bit too open when Aldas Badauskas came free, but Vydas Gudeikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 played minutes Barshenay1 got a freekick which was hit by Dangiras Pilipauskas. Vydas Gudeikis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldas Badauskas in the 18th minute of play. FK Stariske's Kajus Balvočius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitoldas Jančys in the 20th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Barshenay1's goal looked a bit too open when Aldas Badauskas came free, but Vydas Gudeikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klemensas Kuliešius charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Klemensas Kuliešius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FK Stariske's Klemensas Kuliešius got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 31st match minute, FK Stariske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Audrius Aleknius to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes, Barshenay1's Ričardas Tamošauskas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kajus Balvočius came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barshenay1 reached it. Vydas Gudeikis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aldas Badauskas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Agatas Mikuckis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vydas Gudeikis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldas Badauskas in the 41st minute of play forced Barshenay1's goalkeeper Vydas Gudeikis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

59 minutes into the game, Haroldas Banaitis lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Kajus Balvočius. Barshenay1's Vydas Gudeikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldas Badauskas in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldas Badauskas in the 67th minute of play forced Barshenay1's goalkeeper Vydas Gudeikis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ričardas Tamošauskas made a great header on Barshenay1's corner, it was just that FK Stariske's Kajus Balvočius managed to reach the ball for a save. Vydas Gudeikis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldas Badauskas in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agatas Mikuckis in the 78th minute of play forced Barshenay1's goalkeeper Vydas Gudeikis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, FK Stariske's goalkeeper Kajus Balvočius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vitoldas Jančys. Agatas Mikuckis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haroldas Banaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldas Badauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vydas Gudeikis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Barshenay1 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Barshenay1 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
