Regimantas Grybauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juozas Judeikis in the 31st minute of the match. When Aloyzas Budraitis came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Senautis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aloyzas Budraitis couldn't finish the play. Senautis's Aloyzas Budraitis got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladas Prakapas in the 39th minute of play forced FK Padvareliai's goalkeeper Giedrius Milčius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloyzas Budraitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Giedrius Milčius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benas Baltušis to strike the kick off in the second half. FK Padvareliai's Benas Baltušis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloyzas Budraitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giedrius Milčius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, FK Padvareliai's goal looked a bit too open when Aloyzas Budraitis came free, but Giedrius Milčius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Raimundas Jurkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giedrius Milčius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladas Prakapas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The audience was convinced that Aloyzas Budraitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giedrius Milčius was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
