After 16 played minutes DarkSide got a freekick which was hit by Algitas Minkus. Faustas Godeliauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Liudvikas Rančys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DarkSide's Danas Davolis got a free kick in the 18th minute. Eligijus Kazlauskas struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Liudvikas Rančys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI. DarkSide's supporters crossed their fingers, but Algitas Minkus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI's Juozas Steponaitis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI from getting a goal against them. If Algitas Minkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK KAUNO JĖGERIAI's goalkeeper Juozas Steponaitis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
