The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Almantas Butvilas came free, but Rimas Juozaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adomas Nakčiunas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Almantas Butvilas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's zone, Arnoldas Bagvila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rimas Juozaitis came out of the goal and Arnoldas Bagvila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almantas Butvilas in the 19th minute of play forced FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's goalkeeper Rimas Juozaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paulius Kiškunas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Stasys Jakštys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virginijus Tiškevičius was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Stasys Jakštys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virginijus Tiškevičius having to interfere. Almantas Butvilas hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, FC Ursus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karolis Normantas to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stasys Jakštys to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, FC Ursus's Deividas Galvelis got a free kick in the 51st minute. Paulius Kiškunas's late challenge caught a FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulius Kiškunas helped the player get up and apologised. 58 minutes into the match, FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's Daugirdas Lukošaitis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Virginijus Tiškevičius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Ursus's Virginijus Tiškevičius got control of the ball when Stasys Jakštys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adomas Nakčiunas succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 65th playminute. Stasys Jakštys struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Virginijus Tiškevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai. Adomas Nakčiunas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Daugirdas Lukošaitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Virginijus Tiškevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Ursus's Dangiras Kožukauskas got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the FC Ursus defense, Stasys Jakštys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Virginijus Tiškevičius. The FC Ursus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Virginijus Tiškevičius should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Paulius Kiškunas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded FC Cosa Nostra Siauliai left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Ursus.
