In the 9th minute, fk kiaunoriai's Jogaila Kievisas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Naglis Dilda. Naglis Dilda yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Azhulauke booed when fk kiaunoriai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jogaila Kievisas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Azhulauke's Girkantas Pukelis in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye fk kiaunoriai's goalie prevented a goal. After 18 played minutes Azhulauke got a freekick which was hit by Astijus Alesius. Robertas Burkys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Maju having to interfere. Jogaila Kievisas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Naglis Dilda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, fk kiaunoriai's Dorian Quintal got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramūnas Kavaliūnas in the 30th minute of play forced fk kiaunoriai's goalkeeper Ernesto Maju to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Ramūnas Kavaliūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, fk kiaunoriai's goal looked a bit too open when Astijus Alesius came free, but Ernesto Maju reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astijus Alesius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ernesto Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Maju took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astijus Alesius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramūnas Kavaliūnas made a kick off. fk kiaunoriai's Ernesto Maju proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save fk kiaunoriai from getting a goal against them. Laimutis Žilevičius hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Robertas Burkys received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernesto Maju came out and tried to block the shot, but Robertas Burkys slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. Ramūnas Kavaliūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ernesto Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Astijus Alesius, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Kęstutis Vainoras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernesto Maju. The goal made the score 1-2. Naglis Dilda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linas Aukščionis in the 67th minute of play. Ernesto Maju was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robertas Burkys showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 71 minute of play. Ernesto Maju was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ramūnas Kavaliūnas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramūnas Kavaliūnas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Ernesto Maju made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astijus Alesius in the 87th minute. Ernesto Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramūnas Kavaliūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramūnas Kavaliūnas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Maju. That made the score 1-5 in the 93 minute of play. The fk kiaunoriai fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Azhulauke were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
