In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pajieslys's goalkeeper Martynas Vilkas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Juodkrante's zone, Mantas Liauba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Gudas came out of the goal and Mantas Liauba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pajieslys's zone, Ernestas Gustas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Titas Saponka got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Titas Saponka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martynas Vilkas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dovydas Petraitis in the 35th minute of play forced Juodkrante's goalkeeper Ramūnas Gudas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juodkrante's zone, Mantas Liauba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Gudas came out of the goal and Mantas Liauba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dovydas Petraitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pajieslys's supporters rose to their feet, but Dovydas Petraitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramūnas Gudas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Dovydas Petraitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernestas Gustas to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mantas Liauba came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Pajieslys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mantas Liauba couldn't finish the play. If Ernestas Gustas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Titas Saponka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martynas Vilkas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Dovydas Petraitis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ramūnas Gudas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Titas Saponka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 0-3 became the score in the 69th minute when Mantas Liauba elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ernestas Gustas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Martynas Vilkas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Titas Saponka who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pajieslys's Martynas Vilkas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Pajieslys defense, Titas Saponka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martynas Vilkas. The Pajieslys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martynas Vilkas should have stopped the shot. Titas Saponka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Martynas Vilkas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Ernestas Gustas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martynas Vilkas. Pajieslys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernestas Gustas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Giedrius Musteikis's late challenge caught a Juodkrante's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giedrius Musteikis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Pajieslys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giedrius Musteikis to maneuver through the defense. Jarūnas Peleckas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martynas Vilkas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Pajieslys supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pajieslys would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
