In the 38th minute, Benjaminas Klimas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC SansYear fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Antanas Žlabys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfas Bačys in the 41st minute of play. FC SansYear's Benjaminas Klimas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjaminas Klimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gvidas Girčius to make the kick off. Gvidas Girčius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Benjaminas Klimas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FK sTraTo's Antanas Žlabys. Antanas Žlabys was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benjaminas Klimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gvidas Girčius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjaminas Klimas in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antanas Žlabys saved FK sTraTo from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Adolfas Bačys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Antanas Žlabys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 81 minutes, Benoît Fiori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK sTraTo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benoît Fiori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adolfas Bačys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Antanas Žlabys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antanas Žlabys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilijus Aurila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FK sTraTo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
