After a defensive mix-up in FC Dumshishkyay's zone, Kristijonas Endrulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eligijus Vilimavičius came out of the goal and Kristijonas Endrulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Širvintų FK Elektronas getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Algimantas Miceika hit a great ball. After 45 played minutes Širvintų FK Elektronas got a freekick which was hit by Mantvydas Dabulskis. Vydas Venckūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

62 minutes into the game, Benediktas Bračas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Širvintų FK Elektronas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dumshishkyay the free kick. Remigijus Jacinaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfas Damaševicius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Benas Sargūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
