FK Zelabai's Vytenis Tautkevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giedrius Kaunas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adolfas Damaševicius went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Adolfas Damaševicius succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 20th playminute. A hard shot 28 in the game by Adolfas Damaševicius from a close distance when the talented Giedrius Kaunas managed to make a qualified save. FK Zelabai's players were relieved. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vydas Venckūnas to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredas Liaugminas got free with Eligijus Vilimavičius in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FK Zelabai booed when FC Dumshishkyay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rimas Indila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alfredas Liaugminas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
