The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robertas Bajoriūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mondays F.C. booed when FC Sharlavki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldas Daukša didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardas Stanaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robertas Bajoriūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Mondays F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daumantas Ivanauskas came free, but Aluísio Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robertas Bajoriūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mondays F.C.'s Aluísio Sabóia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Mondays F.C. from getting a goal against them. Eduardas Stanaitis came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mondays F.C.'s Robertas Bajoriūnas. But to his dismay, Robertas Bajoriūnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Robertas Bajoriūnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardas Stanaitis was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ignas Kšanavičius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mondays F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ignas Kšanavičius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardas Stanaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39th play minutes Robertas Bajoriūnas shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Eduardas Stanaitis and just under the crossbar into goal. If Robertas Bajoriūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ignas Kšanavičius might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardas Stanaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ignas Kšanavičius ran back to his position shaking his head. The FC Sharlavki players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mondays F.C. were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Robertas Bajoriūnas made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Robertas Bajoriūnas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardas Stanaitis was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. A collision led to Mondays F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ernestas Pakėnas hit a great ball. Bernardas Mažeikis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Eduardas Stanaitis made a huge save. Ignas Kšanavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Robertas Bajoriūnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Sharlavki's Eduardas Stanaitis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernestas Pakėnas struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Eduardas Stanaitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mondays F.C.. FC Sharlavki's Eduardas Stanaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertas Bajoriūnas in the 63rd minute of play. After 67 played minutes, Mondays F.C.'s Vykintas Misevičius shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduardas Stanaitis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mondays F.C. reached it. Robertas Bajoriūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardas Stanaitis having to interfere. Mondays F.C.'s Slawomir Filanowski was substituted for Ignas Kšanavičius. Eduardas Stanaitis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. With an all-out effort, Mondays F.C.'s Eduardas Stanaitis threw himself towards the right post 75 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robertas Bajoriūnas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Eduardas Stanaitis was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Ernestas Pakėnas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernestas Pakėnas really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pello Moreno during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mondays F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Pello Moreno hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, FC Sharlavki's goal looked a bit too open when Robertas Bajoriūnas came free, but Eduardas Stanaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Lucas Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mondays F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Robertas Bajoriūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mondays F.C. booed when FC Sharlavki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vygantas Alekna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slawomir Filanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Eduardas Stanaitis made a huge save. Robertas Bajoriūnas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardas Stanaitis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The FC Sharlavki fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mondays F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
