Ligitas Čivilis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fyfukai. Gintautas Matukaitis's late challenge caught a FC Fyfukai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benediktas Vabalas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ligitas Čivilis having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Herkus Narauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trakenai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fyfukai the free kick. The supporters of Trakenai booed when FC Fyfukai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liutauras Dubauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herkus Narauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Marijus Motūzas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldas Dailidonis. FC Fyfukai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marijus Motūzas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After having played for 56 minutes, Marijus Motūzas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trakenai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marijus Motūzas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marijus Motūzas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marijus Motūzas got free with Arnoldas Dailidonis in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute, Herkus Narauskas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arnoldas Dailidonis, passed just outside the right post. When Trakenai's Herkus Narauskas in 67 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Arnoldas Dailidonis guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Deividas Ignotas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Fyfukai's Arnoldas Dailidonis got control of the ball when Marijus Motūzas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benediktas Vabalas struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ligitas Čivilis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 97 minutes, Liutauras Dubauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Fyfukai and the Trakenai players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 97 played minutes FC Fyfukai got a freekick which was hit by Liutauras Dubauskas. The long shot by Vygandas Dirmeikis in the 98th minute really tested Arnoldas Dailidonis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The FC Fyfukai supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Trakenai's performance. The match ended with a win for Trakenai.
