Ligitas Čivilis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. With a little luck, YNWA's Aurelijus Eitutis got control of the ball when Marijus Motūzas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laimonas Samulionis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurelijus Eitutis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marijus Motūzas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched YNWA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
