The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ovidijus Baubkus made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kęstutis Matulis in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Siauliai11's goalkeeper Pranas Vilkas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, FC Panevežio Banga's Kajus Karpis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pranas Vilkas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Kajus Karpis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. FC Siauliai11's Ovidijus Baubkus got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Panevežio Banga's Girkantas Plakys got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ovidijus Baubkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Laurynas Pikturna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Siauliai11's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
