In the 2nd match minute, FC Gold Boils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilis Navakas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Žilvinas Matusevičius in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Gold Boils's goalkeeper Eurelijus Makauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Žilvinas Matusevičius struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Eurelijus Makauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Garliava. In the 10th minute, Girkantas Sakalauskas made a precise shot to the right of Eurelijus Makauskas. FC Gold Boils's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes FK Garliava got a freekick which was hit by Audrius Beniušis. Liutauras Baracevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agnius Gužauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgis Mačys having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Liutauras Baracevičius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jurgis Mačys was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jurgis Mačys showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liutauras Baracevičius in the 34th minute of the match. Jurgis Mačys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agnius Gužauskas in the 38th minute of play. Rolandas Bartašius's late challenge caught a FC Gold Boils's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolandas Bartašius helped the player get up and apologised. Liutauras Baracevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Gold Boils's Agnius Gužauskas got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juozapas Kriukas lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of FK Garliava:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Gold Boils:s goal. The referee gave FC Gold Boils a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benediktas Navardauskas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FK Garliava's Jurgis Mačys. 1-2.

Agnius Gužauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dainius Gulbinas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Agnius Gužauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurgis Mačys having to interfere. Agnius Gužauskas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jurgis Mačys came out and tried to block the shot, but Agnius Gužauskas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match, Agnius Gužauskas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jurgis Mačys was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Liutauras Baracevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Liutauras Baracevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jurgis Mačys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Garliava's goalkeeper Jurgis Mačys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jurgis Mačys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agnius Gužauskas in the 92nd minute. FK Garliava's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Liutauras Baracevičius 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Agnius Gužauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC Gold Boils supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Gold Boils would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
