Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 7) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ričardas Čizauskas started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, FBK Pajudris's goal looked a bit too open when Ričardas Čizauskas came free, but Andrius Šaulys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Naglis Mileška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aidas Mažutavičius came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by FBK Pajudris's Naglis Mileška. But to his dismay, Naglis Mileška quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Mantas Damanskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Ričardas Čizauskas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrius Šaulys, 1-1. Ričardas Čizauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Andrius Šaulys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ričardas Čizauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrius Šaulys having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, FBK Pajudris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rimas Aliukonis to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kauno Barons booed when FBK Pajudris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladas Puščius didn't get a good kick on the ball. FBK Pajudris's Andrius Šaulys proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FBK Pajudris from getting a goal against them. After having played for 41 minutes, Vladas Puščius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FBK Pajudris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladas Puščius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giedrius Bačkys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Vladas Puščius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Aidas Mažutavičius made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Naglis Mileška took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aidas Mažutavičius to make any attempt to save it. 58 minutes into the match, FBK Pajudris's goal looked a bit too open when Ričardas Čizauskas came free, but Andrius Šaulys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aidas Mažutavičius came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FBK Pajudris's Vladas Puščius. But to his dismay, Vladas Puščius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Haroldas Plekavičius's late challenge caught a Kauno Barons's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldas Plekavičius helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldas Plekavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ričardas Čizauskas in the 66th minute of play forced FBK Pajudris's goalkeeper Andrius Šaulys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 played minutes FBK Pajudris got a freekick which was hit by Rimas Aliukonis. Naglis Mileška fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aidas Mažutavičius having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladas Puščius in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aidas Mažutavičius saved Kauno Barons from getting behind. A hard shot 79 in the game by Vladas Puščius from a close distance when the talented Aidas Mažutavičius managed to make a qualified save. Kauno Barons's players were relieved. Vladas Puščius struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Aidas Mažutavičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Pajudris. When Ričardas Čizauskas came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Kauno Barons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ričardas Čizauskas couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giedrius Bačkys in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrius Šaulys prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kauno Barons's Giedrius Bačkys got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FBK Pajudris's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
