Astijus Tamašauskis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. With his leg Einaras Petryla managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when FK FTB's Donatas Papšys fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Lauras Čereška got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Einaras Petryla made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Donatas Papšys sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Lauras Čereška kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Einaras Petryla. That made the score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. Jarūnas Petryla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Buožius, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilmantas Buožius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Donatas Papšys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einaras Petryla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
