Spectators: 6790 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almantas Linkus got the match started through his kick off. FC Gilandziai's Margiris Petroliūnas got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tautrimas Bitėnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almantas Linkus in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gilandziai's goalkeeper Gvidonas Jankevičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arūnas Brikas in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gvidonas Jankevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Arūnas Brikas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gvidonas Jankevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Gilandziai defense, Arūnas Brikas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gvidonas Jankevičius. The FC Gilandziai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gvidonas Jankevičius should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, FC Gilandziai's goal looked a bit too open when Arūnas Brikas came free, but Gvidonas Jankevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tautrimas Bitėnas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Almantas Linkus's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidas Pilipauskas in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Gilandziai's goalkeeper Gvidonas Jankevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Arūnas Brikas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Gilandziai's Gvidonas Jankevičius. Gvidonas Jankevičius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tautrimas Bitėnas went to the wrong direction when Vykintas Vitkauskas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Gvidonas Jankevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidas Pilipauskas in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Mantas Kudzys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 played minutes Pabirzhe got a freekick which was hit by Skirmantas Dringelis. After a defensive mix-up in Pabirzhe's zone, Almantas Linkus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tautrimas Bitėnas came out of the goal and Almantas Linkus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pabirzhe booed when FC Gilandziai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mantas Kudzys didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitoldas Paplauskas succeeded in the game's 64th minute to get real power on a long shot . FC Gilandziai's Gvidonas Jankevičius hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-3! Arvydas Galvočius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tautrimas Bitėnas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pabirzhe's zone, Arvydas Galvočius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tautrimas Bitėnas came out of the goal and Arvydas Galvočius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arūnas Brikas struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Gvidonas Jankevičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pabirzhe. In the 78th minute Arvydas Galvočius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tautrimas Bitėnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvydas Galvočius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Almantas Linkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tautrimas Bitėnas having to interfere. The FC Gilandziai supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Pabirzhe's performance. The match ended with a win for Pabirzhe.
