With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilmantas Džiaugstas in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jokūbas Jurkaitis saved FK Zemaitija from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Elada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FK Zemaitija:s goal. Pranas Purvinis shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Pranas Purvinis charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pranas Purvinis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes FK Zemaitija got a freekick which was hit by Pranas Purvinis. After 43 minutes, Eligijus Kantauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Zemaitija and the Elada players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, Vilmantas Džiaugstas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Jokūbas Jurkaitis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marijus Dubauskas was the one to do the kick off. If Narūnas Malakauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FK Zemaitija booed when Elada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rytis Čebatorius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Pranas Purvinis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Svajūnas Jasaitis skillfully saved the ball. Svajūnas Jasaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marijus Dubauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svajūnas Jasaitis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FK Zemaitija's Marijus Dubauskas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Elada defense, Marijus Dubauskas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Svajūnas Jasaitis. The Elada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Svajūnas Jasaitis should have stopped the shot. When Eigirdas Papšys fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elada's protests and gave Eigirdas Papšys a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th match minute, Elada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eigirdas Papšys to maneuver through the defense. Narūnas Malakauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svajūnas Jasaitis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Jokūbas Jurkaitis made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Vilmantas Džiaugstas sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Elada's goal looked a bit too open when Marijus Dubauskas came free, but Svajūnas Jasaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narūnas Malakauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Svajūnas Jasaitis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FK Zemaitija fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
