Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Liudas Pocius got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Vilkenai getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arūnas Pečiulis hit a great ball. When Algitas Baziulis fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Nedzinges's protests and gave Algitas Baziulis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vilkenai booed when FC Nedzinges was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algitas Baziulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hubertas Miežys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Eigirdas Damušis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liudas Pocius hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, FC Nedzinges was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Abakaitis to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Hubertas Miežys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilkenai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubertas Miežys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilkenai's Eduardas Dockus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimondas Liubauskas in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vilkenai's Eugenijus Jazukevičius got a free kick in the 38th minute. Raimondas Liubauskas scored 0-2 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardas Dockus, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimondas Liubauskas to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Henrikas Liaugminas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardas Dockus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eduardas Dockus made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Raimondas Liubauskas sent off a good shot on target. After 55 minutes, Valentas Zapalskis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilkenai and the FC Nedzinges players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Nedzinges booed when Vilkenai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentas Zapalskis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, FC Nedzinges's Raimondas Liubauskas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eduardas Dockus. Eduardas Dockus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. 64 minutes into the match, Vilkenai's goalkeeper Eduardas Dockus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimondas Liubauskas. If Raimondas Liubauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vėjas Dirmeikis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liudas Pocius in the 67th minute of play. If Hubertas Miežys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Liudas Pocius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vėjas Dirmeikis. FC Nedzinges's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liudas Pocius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. FC Nedzinges's Vėjas Dirmeikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liudas Pocius in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Hubertas Miežys notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of FC Nedzinges's Vėjas Dirmeikis. Vėjas Dirmeikis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Vilkenai's Eduardas Dockus got control of the ball when Raimondas Liubauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raimondas Liubauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Eduardas Dockus made a huge save. Vilkenai's Eduardas Dockus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Vilkenai from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute, Tomas Abakaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Liudas Pocius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Vėjas Dirmeikis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Nedzinges's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
