Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beržas Užbalis started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beržas Užbalis in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robertas Pečiukas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Egidijus Ozinskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Rusva's supporters rose to their feet, but Egidijus Ozinskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robertas Pečiukas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute, Dominykas Jakubauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Dubingiai getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Andrius Matulionis hit a great ball. Robertas Pečiukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beržas Užbalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Zenonas Miežys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robertas Pečiukas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bronius Maziliauskas's late challenge caught a FC Dubingiai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bronius Maziliauskas helped the player get up and apologised. Bronius Maziliauskas hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. The supporters of FK Rusva booed when FC Dubingiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donatas Kazilionis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 played minutes FC Dubingiai got a freekick which was hit by Andrius Matulionis. FK Rusva's Zenonas Miežys got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenonas Borgaila stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Dubingiai's Robertas Pečiukas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save FC Dubingiai from getting a goal against them. Robertas Pečiukas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zenonas Miežys in the 96th minute. The FC Dubingiai fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FK Rusva were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
