FC Dubingiai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Airūnas Pečiūra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Airūnas Pečiūra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ovidijus Čebatorius fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dubingiai's protests and gave Ovidijus Čebatorius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Ovidijus Čebatorius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC Dubingiai's Robertas Pečiukas got control of the ball when Gvidonas Vaičiulis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 played minutes FC Dubingiai got a freekick which was hit by Andrius Matulionis. 27 minutes into the game, Zenonas Borgaila cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Paulius Aleksiūnas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Vygantas Timinskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modestas Pakerys made a kick off. Modestas Pakerys scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robertas Pečiukas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Robertas Pečiukas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cheetah AFC. Cheetah AFC's Gvidonas Vaičiulis got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andrius Matulionis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulius Aleksiūnas made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Airūnas Pečiūra sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Zenonas Borgaila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulius Aleksiūnas was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Robertas Pečiukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modestas Pakerys in the 79th minute of the match. Zenonas Borgaila struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Paulius Aleksiūnas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dubingiai. 90 minutes into the match, FC Dubingiai's Airūnas Pečiūra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulius Aleksiūnas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulius Aleksiūnas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zenonas Borgaila's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Skirmantas Tamošiūnas's late challenge caught a Cheetah AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Skirmantas Tamošiūnas helped the player get up and apologised. When Modestas Pakerys came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Cheetah AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modestas Pakerys couldn't finish the play.
