If Vydas Dumša had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitoldas Slavinskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Merūnas Adomkevičius went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolandas Pakalniškis got free with Irtautas Inda in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Edmundas Kubilas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC DEVILS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK ERELIAI the free kick. A collision led to FC DEVILS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edmundas Kubilas hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Vydas Dumša shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitoldas Slavinskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitoldas Slavinskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vydas Dumša in the 36th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Merūnas Adomkevičius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vitoldas Slavinskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arminas Povilionis in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Konstantinas Jocys to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC DEVILS's Zigmas Sviderskis got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute, Merūnas Adomkevičius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vaidotas Nutautas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitoldas Slavinskas having to interfere. If Konstantinas Jocys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes FK ERELIAI got a freekick which was hit by Arminas Povilionis. Liutauras Jurgilas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Irtautas Inda. FK ERELIAI's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Konstantinas Jocys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Irtautas Inda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FK ERELIAI getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Arminas Povilionis hit a great ball. Merūnas Adomkevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irtautas Inda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinas Jocys, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Merūnas Adomkevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th match minute, FC DEVILS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmas Sviderskis to maneuver through the defense. The FK ERELIAI players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
