Spectators: 7785 (Terracing: 5840, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eitautas Leimontas started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute of the match, Jarūnas Jonušas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rimvydas Mečionis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 6 played minutes FC AUDI got a freekick which was hit by Anicetas Staponkus. Margiris Gadliauskas struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rimvydas Mečionis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC AUDI. Margiris Gadliauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rimvydas Mečionis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Margiris Gadliauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Margiris Gadliauskas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rimvydas Mečionis was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 18th match minute, FBK Šalča was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justinas Martusevičius to maneuver through the defense. When Margiris Gadliauskas came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC AUDI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Margiris Gadliauskas couldn't finish the play. Eitautas Leimontas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dainius Bankauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC AUDI's Jarūnas Jonušas got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute of the match FBK Šalča got a corner. FC AUDI's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rūtenis Narauskas ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Nerūnas Kožukauskas fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC AUDI's protests and gave Nerūnas Kožukauskas a yellow card for diving instead. Nerūnas Kožukauskas hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Dainius Bankauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaidas Laivys in the 46th minute of the match. Dainius Bankauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaidas Laivys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After 51 played minutes Eitautas Leimontas rounded FC AUDI's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. If Vaidas Laivys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute Eitautas Leimontas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dainius Bankauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, FC AUDI's goalkeeper Dainius Bankauskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vaidas Laivys. When Vaidas Laivys came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FBK Šalča fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vaidas Laivys couldn't finish the play. Margiris Gadliauskas hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute, FBK Šalča's Eitautas Leimontas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Agnius Mikoliūnas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Agnius Mikoliūnas made a precise shot to the right of Rimvydas Mečionis. FBK Šalča's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. FC AUDI's Dainius Bankauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eitautas Leimontas in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for FBK Šalča. Rūtenis Narauskas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dainius Bankauskas. 2-3. The supporters of FBK Šalča booed when FC AUDI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anicetas Staponkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute, Eitautas Leimontas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Justinas Martusevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FBK Šalča's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justinas Martusevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justinas Martusevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The FC AUDI supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FBK Šalča's performance. The match ended with a win for FBK Šalča.
