This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Gytis Girdvainis as he didn't even see the shot coming. The supporters of FC Vilkai booed when FK Medziukai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simonas Dambrauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK Medziukai's Ramūnas Mastavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Titas Mišeikis in the 31st minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, FC Vilkai's Titas Mišeikis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ramūnas Mastavičius showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustas Rinkevičius was the one to do the kick off. Simonas Dambrauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, FC Vilkai's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Krasauskas came free, but Gytis Girdvainis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute Sigitas Krasauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gytis Girdvainis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Feliksas Galinis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gytis Girdvainis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After 73 played minutes FC Vilkai got a freekick which was hit by Benas Banevičius. In the 76thth minute of the game Feliksas Galinis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Vilkai's Gytis Girdvainis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Albertas Avelis came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the FK Medziukai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertas Avelis couldn't finish the play. Albertas Avelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gytis Girdvainis having to interfere. Eigirdas Grinius kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Gytis Girdvainis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliksas Galinis in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, FK Medziukai's Feliksas Galinis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gytis Girdvainis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Feliksas Galinis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Medziukai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliksas Galinis in the 96th minute of play forced FC Vilkai's goalkeeper Gytis Girdvainis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FK Medziukai were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
