In the 20th minute of the game Klemensas Andužis made a throw-in which Ligitas Zelmikas played forward. FC Kargo's Vytaras Dailidonis got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Serter Duyar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SM Jaunimelis's Justas Diliūnas. Justas Diliūnas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Antanas Makelevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antanas Makelevičius struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Silvestre Eufrasio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SM Jaunimelis. The supporters of SM Jaunimelis booed when FC Kargo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugnius Dovydėnas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Serter Duyar came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the FC Kargo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serter Duyar couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute Serter Duyar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justas Diliūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Vidas Petruitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SM Jaunimelis and the FC Kargo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After the first half FC Kargo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serter Duyar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match FC Kargo got a corner. SM Jaunimelis's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Einaras Marcinkus ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Šarūnas Dabriška came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Kargo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Šarūnas Dabriška couldn't finish the play. In the 60th match minute, SM Jaunimelis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naglis Palčiauskas to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Eufrasio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Staškus, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. FC Kargo's Silvestre Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naglis Palčiauskas in the 63rd minute of play. If Serter Duyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serter Duyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justas Diliūnas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Staškus in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Eufrasio saved FC Kargo from getting behind. In the 69thth minute of the game Naglis Palčiauskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kargo's Silvestre Eufrasio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 71 played minutes SM Jaunimelis got a freekick which was hit by Vytaras Dagys. FC Kargo's Vytaras Dailidonis got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Naglis Palčiauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SM Jaunimelis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kargo the free kick. 87 minutes into the match, Vytaras Dagys had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Eufrasio. FC Kargo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vytaras Dagys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Antanas Makelevičius succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-3. Serter Duyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 96th minute of the match Albertas Alukas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justas Diliūnas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
