Arvydas Gužauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemaras Daunoras, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of FC Kargo booed when FBK Buraki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Galskis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serter Duyar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Arvydas Gužauskas made a huge save. Tomas Galskis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, FC Kargo's Serter Duyar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arvydas Gužauskas. Arvydas Gužauskas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When FC Kargo's Serter Duyar in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FBK Buraki's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 24 minutes, Vytaras Dailidonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kargo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vytaras Dailidonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Kargo's Silvestre Eufrasio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilis Lunskis in the 28th minute of play. If Šarūnas Dabriška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvydas Gužauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serter Duyar in the 33rd minute of the match. FC Kargo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Einaras Marcinkus in the 35th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Rokas Sivickas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FBK Buraki's supporters rose to their feet, but Rokas Sivickas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Eufrasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute Rokas Sivickas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serter Duyar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rokas Sivickas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FBK Buraki defense, Serter Duyar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arvydas Gužauskas. The FBK Buraki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arvydas Gužauskas should have stopped the shot. In the 56th match minute, FC Kargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serter Duyar to maneuver through the defense. Silvestre Eufrasio made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Emilis Lunskis sent off a good shot on target. Arvydas Gužauskas came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Kargo's Serter Duyar. But to his dismay, Serter Duyar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 68 minutes into the game, Serter Duyar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kargo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FBK Buraki the free kick. In the 68th minute, Serter Duyar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arvydas Gužauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vytaras Dailidonis, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute Vėjas Macius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kargo's Silvestre Eufrasio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kargo from getting a goal against them. Serter Duyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Galskis's late challenge caught a FC Kargo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Galskis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind FBK Buraki's goalkeeper Arvydas Gužauskas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Šarūnas Dabriška fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvydas Gužauskas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FBK Buraki's zone, Serter Duyar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvydas Gužauskas came out of the goal and Serter Duyar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serter Duyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Kargo's Einaras Marcinkus got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Serter Duyar came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the FC Kargo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serter Duyar couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, FBK Buraki's goal looked a bit too open when Serter Duyar came free, but Arvydas Gužauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that FC Kargo were the better team. FC Kargo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
