Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5813, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 100) 3 minutes into the game, Algirdas Narkevičius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Iodeykyay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Babtynas the free kick. In the 12th minute, Arvydas Rindzevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes, Karolis Trinkūnas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Iodeykyay and the Babtynas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karolis Trinkūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vidmantas Baliukonis in the 19th minute of play forced Babtynas's goalkeeper Juras Barzda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Vidmantas Baliukonis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juras Barzda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eidvilas Beržinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Iodeykyay's goal looked a bit too open when Eidvilas Beržinis came free, but Irtautas Baliukonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irtautas Baliukonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eidvilas Beržinis in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Babtynas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astijus Majauskas to maneuver through the defense. Iodeykyay's Augustinas Kondrotas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Babtynas. Gytis Aukštakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Irtautas Baliukonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gytis Aukštakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gytis Aukštakis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Babtynas's zone, Karolis Trinkūnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juras Barzda came out of the goal and Karolis Trinkūnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Karolis Trinkūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eidvilas Beržinis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irtautas Baliukonis having to interfere. Gytis Aukštakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Irtautas Baliukonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vidmantas Baliukonis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Juras Barzda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidmantas Baliukonis in the 77th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Vidmantas Baliukonis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juras Barzda. Babtynas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vidmantas Baliukonis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Eidvilas Beržinis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Irtautas Baliukonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Karolis Trinkūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Juras Barzda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Karolis Trinkūnas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Babtynas's Juras Barzda. Juras Barzda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Iodeykyay fans cheered their team off the field, for while Babtynas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
