The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Babtynas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Vakaris Ambras scored to the left of an out of position Juras Barzda, making the score, 1-0. Edgaras Kėbla scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juras Barzda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 21 minutes into the game, Gytis Aukštakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Bronislovas Dautartas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bronislovas Dautartas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eidvilas Beržinis in the 25th minute of play. Gytis Aukštakis hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Virgilijus Kligys hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The long shot by Adomas Pažarauskas in the 28th minute really tested Juras Barzda's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edgaras Kėbla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vakaris Ambras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juras Barzda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vakaris Ambras, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Vakaris Ambras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juras Barzda having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vakaris Ambras to strike the kick off in the second half. Bronislovas Dautartas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gytis Aukštakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Vakaris Ambras notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Babtynas's Juras Barzda. Juras Barzda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 63 minutes into the match, Babtynas's goal looked a bit too open when Vakaris Ambras came free, but Juras Barzda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vakaris Ambras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgaras Kėbla in the 71st minute of play forced Babtynas's goalkeeper Juras Barzda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Babtynas's Juras Barzda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgaras Kėbla in the 72nd minute of play. If Edgaras Kėbla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juras Barzda came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Juventus.lt's Edgaras Kėbla. But to his dismay, Edgaras Kėbla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Juras Barzda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vakaris Ambras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 86th minute of the game. One of Babtynas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FK Juventus.lt:s goal. Adomas Pažarauskas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Vakaris Ambras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for FK Juventus.lt. Adomas Pažarauskas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Juras Barzda. 5-1. FK Juventus.lt's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
