Spectators: 7874 (Terracing: 5906, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 157) Vygantas Kaupelis made the kick off and thus started the match. Svajūnas Gežys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vygantas Kaupelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Drąsutis Budvytis charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Drąsutis Budvytis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes FC FERTIS got a freekick which was hit by Drąsutis Budvytis. After a defensive mix-up in FC FERTIS's zone, Vygantas Kaupelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Svajūnas Gežys came out of the goal and Vygantas Kaupelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentas Daktaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Svajūnas Gežys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vismantas Gasparas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemaras Jasudas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vismantas Gasparas in the 20th minute of play. FC FERTIS's Svajūnas Gežys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vygantas Kaupelis in the 22nd minute of play. When Vytenis Stuburas came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the FC FERTIS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vytenis Stuburas couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vismantas Gasparas sped through Leeds United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Valdemaras Jasudas. In the 31st match minute, Leeds United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurelijus Plakys to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, Leeds United's goal looked a bit too open when Vismantas Gasparas came free, but Valdemaras Jasudas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemaras Jasudas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vismantas Gasparas in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Valentas Daktaras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Svajūnas Gežys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vygantas Kaupelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Svajūnas Gežys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vismantas Gasparas to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Valentas Daktaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leeds United's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentas Daktaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svajūnas Gežys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vygantas Kaupelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Svajūnas Gežys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Valentas Daktaras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Svajūnas Gežys was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 65th match minute, FC FERTIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nojus Jacevičius to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Vismantas Gasparas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC FERTIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 74 minutes into the game, Leeds United's Valentas Daktaras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Svajūnas Gežys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. When Valentas Daktaras came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Leeds United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentas Daktaras couldn't finish the play. After 79 played minutes FC FERTIS got a freekick which was hit by Zigmas Labuckas. Leeds United's Valdemaras Jasudas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vismantas Gasparas in the 81st minute of play. When Eurelijus Plakys fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds United's protests and gave Eurelijus Plakys a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Leeds United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Eurelijus Plakys hit a great ball. Valentas Daktaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentas Daktaras in the 96th minute of play forced FC FERTIS's goalkeeper Svajūnas Gežys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leeds United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
