With 11 minutes on the clock, Ramūnas Stanelis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karaliunai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Kinty. Gediminas Motūzas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonas Liubauskas. 1-0. Astijus Baltruika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Liubauskas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Astijus Baltruika in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonas Liubauskas saved Karaliunai from getting behind. After having played for 35 minutes, Astijus Baltruika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kinty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Astijus Baltruika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rimas Balčaitis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Kinty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rimas Balčaitis couldn't finish the play. Dinaras Diečkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Motiejus Mitkevičius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oskaras Česnauskas was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the last second Jonas Liubauskas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Astijus Baltruika in the 48thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Astijus Baltruika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Liubauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astijus Baltruika scored 3-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Liubauskas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Astijus Baltruika took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Liubauskas. Jonas Liubauskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The supporters of Karaliunai booed when Kinty was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erikas Juška didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Motiejus Mitkevičius fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karaliunai's protests and gave Motiejus Mitkevičius a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, Karaliunai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Motiejus Mitkevičius to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Rimas Balčaitis suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Albertas Lukošiunas's late challenge caught a Kinty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertas Lukošiunas helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Karaliunai fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Astijus Baltruika's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas Liubauskas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Gediminas Motūzas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Liubauskas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Motiejus Mitkevičius hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Astijus Baltruika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kinty fans cheered their team off the field, for while Karaliunai had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
