The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Motiejus Nagys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, Nerijus Barsys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karolis Pakėnas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ignas Rimeika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Konstantinas Bauža went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the game, Konstantinas Bauža lined in a short shot 2-1 behind a frustrated Ignas Rimeika. In the 21st minute, Motiejus Makūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignas Rimeika made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ligitas Milkus in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, FC Girls Lovers Utd.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nerijus Barsys came free, but Karolis Pakėnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ligitas Milkus came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC Girls Lovers Utd. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ligitas Milkus couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, FC Buk Slaptas's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantinas Bauža came free, but Ignas Rimeika reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignas Rimeika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinas Bauža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Girls Lovers Utd.'s Ligitas Milkus got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dainius Jackus hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, FC Buk Slaptas's Remigijus Raubickas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Remigijus Raubickas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Buk Slaptas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Remigijus Raubickas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Valdemaras Paulauskas was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Girls Lovers Utd.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led FC Girls Lovers Utd.'s Valdemaras Paulauskas to fire away a dangerous shot which Ignas Rimeika despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Ligitas Milkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for FC Girls Lovers Utd.. Valdemaras Paulauskas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ignas Rimeika. 3-1. Nerijus Barsys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Karolis Pakėnas made a huge save. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Buk Slaptas's goalkeeper Ignas Rimeika, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Konstantinas Bauža had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Konstantinas Bauža fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignas Rimeika having to interfere. Konstantinas Bauža's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ignas Rimeika read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Ignas Rimeika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinas Bauža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ligitas Milkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC Buk Slaptas getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Albertas Radavičius hit a great ball. In the 99th minute, Valdemaras Paulauskas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Buk Slaptas's Ignas Rimeika didn't even have to move. FC Buk Slaptas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
