The Vilkenas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 6 played minutes Galvydiske got a freekick which was hit by Gintautas Bakaitis. Eligijus Karalius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ignas Budreckas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurynas Vertelis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolfas Nakčiunas having to make a save. Adolfas Nakčiunas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hieronim Zawacki in the 11th minute. In the 18th minute, Laurynas Vertelis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vilkenas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Laurynas Vertelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marijus Tamulis made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vilkenas's Virginijus Galvočius. Laurynas Vertelis might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfas Nakčiunas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurynas Vertelis ran back to his position shaking his head. Gintautas Bakaitis's late challenge caught a Vilkenas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gintautas Bakaitis helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Galvydiske:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vilkenas:s goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Laurynas Vertelis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilkenas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurynas Vertelis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galvydiske's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Laurynas Vertelis scored to the left of an out of position Adolfas Nakčiunas, making the score, 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hieronim Zawacki to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Hieronim Zawacki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Adolfas Nakčiunas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hieronim Zawacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Adolfas Nakčiunas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfas Nakčiunas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurynas Vertelis's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a rather tough play, Galvydiske's Eligijus Karalius got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69th minute, Darius Dagys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Galvydiske's zone, Hieronim Zawacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfas Nakčiunas came out of the goal and Hieronim Zawacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vilkenas's Gvidonas Burneika got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Laurynas Vertelis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Giedrius Kiela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eligijus Karalius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ignas Budreckas came out and tried to block the shot, but Eligijus Karalius slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 78th minute. Adolfas Nakčiunas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hieronim Zawacki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laurynas Vertelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adolfas Nakčiunas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Galvydiske's zone, Laurynas Vertelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfas Nakčiunas came out of the goal and Laurynas Vertelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Vilkenas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
