Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 156) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rapolas Krištopaitis kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Vydas Tarailis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vytautas Andužis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romualdas Boruta in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vytautas Andužis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, Liepalotai's goalkeeper Marius Bandza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gytis Basys. When Hubertas Mečius fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liepalotai's protests and gave Hubertas Mečius a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of nesamone booed when Liepalotai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubertas Mečius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Liepalotai's zone, Gytis Basys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Bandza came out of the goal and Gytis Basys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vytautas Andužis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darijus Tamulevičius in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darijus Tamulevičius in the 30th minute of play forced nesamone's goalkeeper Vytautas Andužis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Darijus Tamulevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, nesamone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kęstutis Gražulis to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gytis Basys got free with Marius Bandza in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Gytis Basys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Bandza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rapolas Krištopaitis in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Darijus Tamulevičius made the kick off in the second half. Vytautas Andužis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darijus Tamulevičius in the 55th minute of play. Vytautas Andužis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darijus Tamulevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, nesamone's goalkeeper Vytautas Andužis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vydas Tarailis. After a defensive mix-up in Liepalotai's zone, Gytis Basys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Bandza came out of the goal and Gytis Basys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rapolas Krištopaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Liepalotai players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented nesamone from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
