Raimondas Liubinskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadas Gargasas having to interfere. Tadas Gargasas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimondas Liubinskas in the 16th minute of the match. When Vertimai's Raimondas Liubinskas in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Szawdynie's goalie prevented a goal. When Vladas Greičius fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Szawdynie's protests and gave Vladas Greičius a yellow card for diving instead. Vertimai's Tadas Valuckis was substituted for Aurelijus Baravykas. Vladas Greičius kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tadas Valuckis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Szawdynie's zone, Emilis Danielius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadas Gargasas came out of the goal and Emilis Danielius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimondas Liubinskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadas Gargasas having to interfere. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Emilis Danielius sped through FC Szawdynie's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tadas Gargasas. After a rather tough play, Vertimai's Airidas Stankus got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, Raimondas Liubinskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vertimai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaidas Gedrimas to make the kick off. Raimondas Liubinskas in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tadas Gargasas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Vertimai getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tadas Gargasas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emilis Danielius in the 75th minute. After 82 minutes, Svajūnas Ušeckas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Szawdynie and the Vertimai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emilis Danielius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tadas Gargasas came out and tried to block the shot, but Emilis Danielius slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 87th minute. Vertimai's Raimondas Liubinskas got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vertimai played a much better game than FC Szawdynie and deserved their victory. The FC Szawdynie players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
