Titas Dirkys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Audrius Bajoriūnas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Audrius Bajoriūnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titas Dirkys having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hubertas Gedrikas during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Bliuviskiai got a freekick which was hit by Dangiras Kriukas. Titas Dirkys acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Remigijus Mačys. Jogaila Virbickas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eitautas Bakaitis to strike the kick off in the second half.
