Juozas Stanevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laimutis Gegeckas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Laimutis Gegeckas came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the FC Szawdynie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laimutis Gegeckas couldn't finish the play. In the 24thth minute of the game Vaidas Gedrimas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Skrydis's Juozas Stanevičius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Vaidas Gedrimas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Szawdynie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaidas Gedrimas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juozas Stanevičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaidas Gedrimas in the 32nd minute of the match. Vladas Bardauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vaidas Gedrimas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadas Gargasas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tautvydas Mickeliūnas in the 74th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Vaidas Gedrimas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juozas Stanevičius. Astijus Geralavičius charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Astijus Geralavičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Justinas Pilipavičius was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Laimutis Gegeckas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 101st minute of the match, but Juozas Stanevičius made a huge save. The FC Szawdynie players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
