Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Šimkūnas got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Tomas Šimkūnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Titas Alekna's late challenge caught a Skirsnemunes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Titas Alekna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Skirsnemunes booed when SIELA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titas Alekna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romualdas Baltuška sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Eurelijus Rimša fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SIELA's protests and gave Eurelijus Rimša a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Eurelijus Rimša hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Skirsnemunes's Tomas Šimkūnas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gvidonas Gricius. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Tomas Šimkūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to Skirsnemunes getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Audrius Čiapas hit a great ball. Pranas Ancikas, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Gvidonas Gricius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romualdas Baltuška in the 17th minute. Zenonas Žalys hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tomas Šimkūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gvidonas Gricius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, SIELA's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Šimkūnas came free, but Gvidonas Gricius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Skirsnemunes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gytis Butautas to maneuver through the defense. Redas Nauronis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Romualdas Baltuška had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albinas Didžiulis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gvidonas Gricius came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Skirsnemunes's Tomas Šimkūnas. But to his dismay, Tomas Šimkūnas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to SIELA getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eurelijus Rimša hit a great ball. Albinas Didžiulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zenonas Žalys's late challenge caught a SIELA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zenonas Žalys helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Skirsnemunes's Zenonas Žalys got a free kick in the 66th minute. Albinas Didžiulis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Zenonas Žalys was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. After 81 played minutes Skirsnemunes got a freekick which was hit by Zenonas Žalys. Romualdas Baltuška sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gytis Butautas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gvidonas Gricius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of SIELA booed when Skirsnemunes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romualdas Baltuška didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Tarailis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gvidonas Gricius having to interfere. Gytis Butautas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gvidonas Gricius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Skirsnemunes were the better team. Skirsnemunes's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
