Spectators: 7861 (Terracing: 5897, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Šimkūnas started the match with the kick off. Dušan Ileš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Arūnas Daugirdas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 4 minutes, Gytis Butautas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skirsnemunes and the ManUnited LT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Gytis Butautas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ManUnited LT booed when Skirsnemunes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Tarailis didn't get a good kick on the ball. ManUnited LT's Ziemowit Galaska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdas Baltuška in the 7th minute of play. When ManUnited LT's Dušan Ileš in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skirsnemunes's goalie prevented a goal. Arūnas Daugirdas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dušan Ileš's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Skirmantas Barvainis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th match minute, Skirsnemunes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gytis Butautas to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th match minute, ManUnited LT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vykintas Putvinskas to maneuver through the defense. Jurgis Vizbaras took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ziemowit Galaska. ManUnited LT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Skirmantas Barvainis came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the ManUnited LT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Skirmantas Barvainis couldn't finish the play. Romualdas Baltuška struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ziemowit Galaska didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skirsnemunes. In the 30th minute, Romualdas Baltuška made a precise shot to the right of Ziemowit Galaska. ManUnited LT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Tomas Šimkūnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dušan Ileš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arūnas Daugirdas was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Skirmantas Barvainis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Skirmantas Barvainis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Skirmantas Barvainis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Arūnas Daugirdas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ManUnited LT's Ziemowit Galaska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdas Baltuška in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ManUnited LT's zone, Audrius Čiapas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ziemowit Galaska came out of the goal and Audrius Čiapas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute Dušan Ileš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arūnas Daugirdas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes ManUnited LT got a freekick which was hit by Aloyzas Vaidžiulis. Skirmantas Barvainis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arūnas Daugirdas having to interfere. Dušan Ileš ran back to his position shaking his head. When Dušan Ileš came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the ManUnited LT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dušan Ileš couldn't finish the play. Arūnas Daugirdas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dušan Ileš in the 92nd minute of the match. Skirmantas Barvainis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arūnas Daugirdas having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Dušan Ileš managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManUnited LT's supporters rose to their feet, but Dušan Ileš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arūnas Daugirdas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
