Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Drąsutis Ališauskas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vygandas Žvirblys. The goal made the score 2-0. Albertas Martusevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Albertas Martusevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldas Plečkaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rytis Dalinda fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Kraupėnai's protests and gave Rytis Dalinda a yellow card for diving instead. Rytis Dalinda hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Padubisio's Saulius Misiulis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FK Kraupėnai. Haroldas Plečkaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidas Ežerskis in the 32nd minute of play. Artūras Žigelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stasys Vaškys kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FK Kraupėnai's Drąsutis Ališauskas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vygandas Žvirblys narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Erikas Dekanis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Kraupėnai's supporters rose to their feet, but Erikas Dekanis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vygandas Žvirblys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drąsutis Ališauskas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Padubisio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertas Martusevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Albertas Martusevičius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haroldas Plečkaitis. That made the score 3-1 in the 76 minute of play. After 80 played minutes Padubisio's Albertas Martusevičius stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Haroldas Plečkaitis stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing FK Kraupėnai of the goal. FK Kraupėnai were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Padubisio for a fine match.
